Mama Woinareg killed in Axum, Tigray during heavy artillery shelling of the city by Eritrean and Abiy Ahmed soldiers.

Haphtom Haphtom was a tour guide in Axum where he was a fixture. We saw him every year we went to visit. He was killed in Abiy's "Law and Order Operation."

Bitweded Tadesse killed by Abiy Ahmed & Eritrean soldiers on December 28, 2020 while he was on his way to church in Axum, Tigray.

Yafet 26-year-old cyclist, was killed by Eritrean troops in Axum, Tigray.

Lisanework Leake Killed by the Eritrean soldiers in Abune Penteleon Monastery Church, Gundelba, near Axum.He was killed with with his son, Binyam Lisanework.

Gebrehiwot Gebrekidan Among the hundreds of civilians massacred trying to defend the looting of The Ark of the Covenant from Aksum’s Maryam Tsion church by the Eritrean and Ethiopian soldiers. He was an employee of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE).

Berihu Gebremariam A lecturer & Head Department of Animal Science at Axum University, is one of the 100's of Tigrayans massacred at Axum Zion Church.

Daniel Fithaneges Tsehaye Recent graduate of Adigrat University, where he studied civil engineering. He was killed by #EritreanTroops in Axum, Tigray.

Wedi kyar Rebi suffered from a mental health issue killed in Axum by Abiy Ahmed and Isayas Afeworki soldiers.

Teamrat Mamu ( Wedi Mamuye) was murdered in Axum massacre on November 29 by Eritrean soldiers.

Hadgu Ataklti Gebremedhn A lecturer in Axum University, victim of Axum Massacre; He has been killed by Eritrean soldiers. Was a brilliant, humble, extremely sociable man of principle with clear vision. He was also a father of two kids.

Alemshewit Gebrewahid Lecturer at Axum University. Graduated at the University of Gondar, is murdered by the Eritrean troops in Axum.

Abebe Amare Father of 5 kids. Killed by the Ethiopian soldiers in Axum, Edaga Berhe.

Zemichael Moges Gebremichael 43 years old, Killed on November 28, 2020 by the Eritrean soldiers. He was a volunteer at the Red Cross Society of Tigray branch.

Tesfahuney Medhanie Killed by the Ethiopian and Eritrean soldiers on November 28, 2020 in Axum, Tigray

Negassi Killed in October 2022 when Eritrean soldiers re-entered Axum.
